Providing the boating enthusiast with high quality, reasonably priced convenience marine accessories that significantly contribute to a safe, enjoyable boating experience.
In the early 1990’s SnapIt! introduced a revolutionary line of boating accessories and quickly became recognized as the innovators in the field of CNC Machined marine polymer convenience accessories. The patented approach to using snap features to attach the accessories to the tubing commonly found on motor and sail boats freed the boating enthusiast from drilling unsightly holes in the boat and from the checkout cost of purchasing additional mounting hardware.
When Snapit! began producing marine accessories there were two common sizes of tubing used on boats. Time and technology move forward and over the years the increased use of electronics at the helm has mandated larger diameter tubing within which to route the electronic wiring. The result is that now 1 1/8” and 1 1/4" tubing are also commonly found on boats. With 7/8”, 1”, 1 1/8” and 1 1/4" diameter tubing now commonly in use on boats this makes it more difficult and costly for SnapIt!’s retailers to stock an appropriate selection of accessories.
Seeing this as an opportunity for further innovation SnapIt! is excited to introduce the new V Series of SnapIt! Marine Accessories. These Versatile utility accessories are packaged with a series of U shaped clamps that snap to 7/8”, 1”, 1 1/8” and 1 1/4" diameter tubing. Simply snap the appropriate clamp on to the tubing and fasten the accessory to it with the included hardware. Store the additional clamps so they are available in the event of an upgrade to a different boat with different tubing sizes. If so desired the accessory can be attached to a vertical flat surface with the included hardware.
An added bonus to this creative fastening approach is that it allows more efficient nesting of the parts during the CNC machining process. This more efficient use of material allows SnapIt! to pass on the cost savings to the customer resulting in an end user cost for the new V Series that is less than that of the original lines.
